New video about how the light rail runs in mixed traffic

Hovedstadens Letbane has published this video, which shows how the traffic regulation will be at many intersections where the light rail runs in mixed traffic, with cars, bicycles and pedestrians. The video is in danish.

The light rail will run along Ring 3 on a large part of the stretch between Lundtofte and Ishøj. This means that the light rail will share many intersections with motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Therefore, all the intersections where the light rail is running in mixed traffic will be light regulated. In this way, pedestrians, cyclists and motorists don't have to think about who has the right of way and who can drive. The light controls will tell you that. Just as they also signal the light rail.

The light rail gets the green light as often as possible

If you stick to driving when the light is green, keep still when it's red, and be a little more careful about sneaking out when it's yellow, it will all work out. At the same time, the light controls are arranged so that the light rail train meets the green light as often as possible, without it creating a traffic jam in the rest of the traffic. Always remember to orientate yourself in addition to driving when there is a green light.
